Who Are We?
As an established independent association duly registered with the Registrar of Associations, Zakaat Hub has emerged as a focus group to resolve the following issues related to handling of Zakaat, which is the third pillar of Islam.
Zakaat handling issues faced by organisations:
- Abuse of Zakaat by some individuals.
- Limited collaboration and sharing of information among organisations.
- Lengthy approval process due to unavailability of timely information.
- No consistent follow-up with needy people over the period.
- Cummulative knowledge gathered by field investigators is unstructured.
What we don’t do?
Zakaat Hub shall, by no means, be involved in the collection and distribution of Zakaat nor influence the day-to-day management and decision-making process of its affiliates in the attribution of Zakaat.

We have not get approbation from our Beneficiaries to share their data (data that are already in our custody) can we still affiliate and share new data depending on the willingness of our Beneficiaries to share their data.

Does the Zakaat Hub board consist of members of all Aqeeda?
Zakaat Hub does not indulge in any matters relating to Aqeeda. We only manage information. Therefore, it does not limit the membership to a certain Aqeeda.

What If our NGO wants to affiliate but want to share only part of its data?
We don’t have control on what information organisation is sharing to us. We rely on collaboration of all org.
