Being registered in the Social Register of Mauritius means that these families benefit from the facilities and services offered by the National Empowerment Foundation (NEF) and which are as follows:
- Financial support

– the monthly Child Allowance of Rs 957, for a maximum of 3 children to encourage them to go to school;

– Crèche Scheme (a maximum of Rs 2,000 is paid directly to the crèche
- Lodging
– The Fully Concrete Housing Scheme (for beneficiaries who have land) and the 10% NHDC Scheme (for beneficiaries who do not own land);
- Family and health
– Beneficiaries under the SRM follow the Life Enhancement Education Program (focused on communication, family life, self-esteem, values, etc.) and also benefit from psychological support and support and,
